Research profile

Research activities focus on:

• mangrove estuaries aquatic primary productivity.

• metabolic status of mangrove estuary using net ecosystem metabolism model.

• Impact studies on mangrove and aquatic ecosystem.

• Bioassessement on water quality of aquatic ecosystem.

Current projects

• To develop an ecosystem health model for evaluation the health of mangrove estuary due to degradation. FRGS (2007 - 2010).

• Mangrove ecosystem: Implication toward fishery, degradation and management. USM. (July  2006 - Aug 2007).

• To evaluate the health of a mangrove estuary using Net Ecosystem Metabolism. USM. (Dec 2006 - Dec 2007).
