30 January 2019, CEMACS USM - Tech Dome Penang together with the InvestPenang had the pleasure of dropping by CEMACS, The Center for Marine and Coastal Studies hosted by Prof. Dato' Dr. Aileen Tan Shau Hwai. CEMACS is the world renown center under USM, the Science University of Malaysia in Penang. CEMACS is an amazing place and have pioneered world class research leading to commercialization of oysters, sea cucumbers and other sea invertebrates farming.
They are looking to partner with CEMACS to Introduce Marine Science their student tour and exchange program. Iff all works out well, they will run a Marine Science camp right at CEMACS where people will get to experinece and learn abaout marine and coastal ecology. Hopefully, at some point, we can bring many students to benefit from the learning they can get at this place.
